Bio:
Artist
in Residence and Art Therapist: Camarillo State Hospital &
Developmental Center.
Worked with individuals of all ages in ceramics, mask making,
poetry, creative writing and movement.
Women
Helping Women: Created a counseling center serving women and adolescents
with traumas of incest, domestic and substance abuse.
Counseled relational, self-esteem, career therapy and spiritual
development, integrating traditional counseling with expressive
therapies. The result being a feminist form of expressive and
performance art.
Co-Founded
The Breast Project, San Francisco California.
Conceived
and presented a multimedia art exhibition documenting issues of
women's physical "Beauty" and its impact on health and
society. This project was funded by private donations and through
the sale of a limited number of monoprints created by directly
printing the torsos of live models onto paper.
Regional
Director for the Spiritual Emergence Network
Rose
was the regional director in Spain for this international organization.
She worked helping individuals experiencing unusual paranormal
phenomenon connected with spiritual "openings" and "alien
abductions". These episodes were frequently misdiagnosed
by others as psychotic illness.
