Wave
Shield was developed in response to the growing concern
about cell phone radiation. Beginning in January of 2000
the first Wave shield product for cell phones was produced,
series 1000, sent to an FCC listed lab for testing on phones
and the results showed the Wave shield 1000 blocked up to
97% of the radiation from entering the soft tissue of the
ear where all the nerves and blood cells are located. This
was followed by Series 2000 gold mesh which testing proved
blocks up to 99% of the radiation from entering the inner
ear.
Waveshield 3000 for cordless phones followed when reports
showed that cordless phones were of equal or a greater risk
than cell phones. Testing proved that series 3000 blocked
up to 97% of the radiation from entering the ear as well.
When a call comes in the radiation comes in via the antenna,
half of which goes into space, the rest forms around the side
of the head where the phone is held against the ear. Wave
shield does not block radiation from the antenna or body of
the phone. The focus is only on radiation entering the inner
ear because the ear is the highest absorption rate of radiation
in the body and most of the reports of tumors and health problems
have been directly behind the ear.
Additional testing was done in Germany, Russia and Holland
all proving the Wave shield did exactly as it claimed in protecting
individuals from potential health risks.
Over the past 5 years there have been many other products,
both shields, energy absorbing discs etc. that made invalid
claims about the effectiveness of their products.
The
FCC either sued or forced most of them from the market but
not Wave shield.
In
fact Wave shield has never been asked to stop selling in the
U.S.A. because testing proved what was claimed. There are
still a few "cellphone decorations" being sold on
the internet as low as 49 cents on E-bay.

The regular headsets that are used and in some cases given
free by phone manufacturers are 3 times more dangerous as
the wire leading to the ear bud acts like an aerial and magnifies
the radiation. Wave shield replaced the wire with a tubular

and sound goes to the head through the hollow tube, zero radiation.
