Touch offers quality skincare focusing on the detailed individual needs of each clients' skin type and current condition. Touch uses Image Skincare, vegan massage creme and 100% natural essential oils. Our philosophy is to use products that contain superior ingredients to achieve outstanding results.

I became interested in body and skin care because of my firm belief in the healing power of touch and my desire for close connections with others. I have a real love for my work and am dedicated to provide exceptional service to meet the needs of each client. I am passionate about helping people heal, relax, pamper themselves, improve their skin, and overall well being.

I grew up in Santa Barbara where I attended high school and college. I studied esthetics when I moved to Portland, Oregon and received my Esthetician license in 2005. I moved back to Santa Barbara in 2008 and began working in the spa industry. I continued my education at the International Dermal Institute and completed my massage training at Santa Barbara Bodyworks. I love learning new modalities of bodywork which led me to San Luis Obispo to learn the Ayurvedic practice of Tibetan Shirodhara.

I truly found my calling when I discovered Craniosacral Therapy. I was drawn to study craniosacral even though I did not know much about it, I was just interested. After my very first introduction to craniosacral with my amazing instructor Matt Lynch, I was so excited about it. I felt like this was what I was born to do, it came so naturally. Once I learned some of the techniques, I was doing them on everyone I could get my hands on by incorporating them in my facials and massage. I am grateful to have been given such an amazing gift.

BODYWORK

Craniosacral Therapy

A gentle holistic approach to healing, that is extremely potent and works with the core system of the body. Restrictions are released from the tissue that surrounds your brain and spinal cord to optimize the flow of cerebral spinal fluid. TOUCH Massage

A full body aromatherapy massage which promotes relaxation and stimulates the circulatory system. It combines long flowing strokes with light to medium pressure.

Deep Tissue Massage

A therapeutic massage which focuses on the deeper layers of soft tissue to directly address pain and work out tension in the muscles.

Tibetan Shirodhara

Journey into instant tranquility as a combination of Tibetan massage techniques are used to lead you into a profoundly deep state of relaxed awareness. Energy points release mental tension, massage and warmth on the belly and feet settle emotions and then the head is anointed with warmed oil. As the oil plays on the third eye, it has a balancing effect on the deepest recesses of the brain, stimulating the endocrine system, the pituitary and pineal glands (for hormonal upsets) and pleasure neurotransmitters (for depression or emotional insecurity). It recharges your body and enhances mental clarity. After the treatment you are then left for a few minutes to relax and assimilate the experience and emerge with a heightened state of awareness and a long-lasting sense of peace.

Myofascial Release

This technique focuses on the removal of restrictions in the fascial system, the network of connective tissue that holds the body together & gives it form. This fascial system is within every part of the body. Restrictions in the fascia can result in or will play a part in most dysfunction in the body. The therapist will soften and increase mobility of the connective tissue that has become immobile.
