Sound
Healing
The
sounds and vibrations of singing bowls assist to re-tune the body
to health. The body opens up to the resonant sound and deep relaxation
follows.
Sound supports the natural desire for harmony of the body and positively
influences the mobilization of its self-healing power.
...It's like dropping a pebble
into a pond... concentric waves spread over the whole pond
and set every molecule of water into motion...
Healing through sound and vibration
is known to:
- reduce stress
- improve concentration
- reduce blood pressure
- improve immunity
- increase blood circulation
- diminish joint pain
- deep relaxation
- remove mental and emotional negativity and enhance
creativity
- improve sleep pattern (insomnia or hypersomnia)
"In this space of sensing
basic trust there does not exist any wrong or right but only an
“it is“.
Being alright the way one is – being allowed to be oneself
and experiencing an unrestricted
appreciation by the Sound Practitioner – has a healthful effect
and therewith supports health
in the holistic sense" (J. Kabat-Zinn, 2004).
