I’m Dr. Jeff Rynders, DC. I've been in private practice
since graduating from Los Angeles College
of Chiropractic in April 2003. My goal as a Chiropractor is
not only to free my patients of pain so that they can function
fully, but also improve their lives in many ways. Some of these
ways include perspectives on nutrition, exercise, stress, and
bit about my practice:
I am the sole provider in my office, and treat patients one
on one. I use my hands in treatment primarily, although my office
is equipped with mechanical traction for the back and neck,
electrical stimulation, ultrasound, pelvic blocks, and hot and
cold therapies that I use as needed. With my hands I evaluate
and treat the neuromusculoskeletal system of the body. By neuromusculoskeletal,
I mean Nervous System Tone, Muscle Tension & Tightness,
and Joint Restrictions.
I refer to my work as Core Tension Release because my goal is
to reduce the root tension causing dysfunction and pain anywhere
in the body. Core Tension Release is a combination of Network
Spinal Analysis, Myofascial Release, and Diversified Chiropractic
Adjusting techniques that I combine and use when I approach
my patients’ care. My patients report a sense of body
awareness, mental acuity, relaxation, and tension reduction
at their core after being treated. I enjoy treating patients
of all age groups, and no patient is either too young or too
old to receive the benefits of my work.

Adrenal Stress Testing
all understand the concept of stress, but the impact of stress
on our body is extensive and complex. Two areas of impact that
I directly assess and affect in my Chiropractic practice are
the impact of stress on the nervous system leading to nervous
system “tone” and the impact of stress on the adrenal
glands leading to an array of health issues related to hormone
balance in the body. In this paper I hope to provide insight
into effective ways to test the affects of stress on our nervous
systems and adrenal glands, manage stress in our lives, and
therefore improve our quality of life.
goal is to inform you of the how stress causes nervous system
tension patterns and how stress disrupts the hormonal balance
in the body. Chronic stress leads to a Chronic Stress Response.
Over time, our protective feedback loops become inhibited and
the body becomes increasingly less able to handle stressful
situations in a healthy way. We were designed to experience
stressful situations as short term situations (e.g. running
from a tiger in the wild). In our current society, with its
many pressures and demands, we are experiencing long uninterrupted
periods of stress. This is creating a myriad of health problems.

is wonderful. I have never experienced his technique before.
He was able to release a lot of my tension and relax some extremely
tight muscles in my neck. I will definitely be going back.
