From Crisis or Confusion to Creative Breakthrough
Shaw Gale, M.A.
am a BCC Board Certified Life Coach and Certified Hakomi Practitioner
with a Master’s degree in Holistic Psychology and over 35
years in the body/mind/spirit wellness field, including many years
as a somatic psychotherapist and Trainer of Hakomi Mindful Somatic
Psychotherapy. I specialize in working with people who are going
through a significant life transition or are feeling a need to
‘reinvent” their lives to be more deeply satisfying
and grounded in creativity, spirituality and meaningful purpose.
my extensive experience in somatic and neuropsychology, energy
medicine, embodied mindfulness and indigenous wisdom practices
, I guide my clients through an “inner vision quest”
of intuitive inquiry and mindful self-reflection. Then, step-by-step,
I help them to navigate through heart-centered processes of empowerment
and graceful transformation to a life of joyful fulfillment.
Taoist and Buddhist principles of compassionate presence, non-force
and a belief in the interconnectedness of all life, my approach
is both gentle and supportive as well as powerfully focused and
effective. I see each individual's (or couple’s) path of
growth and evolution in the context of the greater collective/culture,
and particularly with regard to the current evolution of consciousness
and paradigm shift that is underway on the planet.

From Old Story to New Story:
A Women’s Deep Dive
Writing Retreat Renewal
Saturday 12/2, 10am – 5pm
@ a Private home on Mountain Dr., SB
Tired of spinning your same old stories? Are you ready to...
- Reinvent yourself with fresh metaphors and unexpected language?
- Re-invigorate your past as the launch pad for an exciting new future?
- Take the “narrative lead” & “re-story" yourself with a new script?
Join me and together we will create a warm, receptive, non-critical atmosphere where the emergence of each woman’s unique form of expression will be encouraged and welcomed. Brief experiential warm-ups with movement and meditation will help us to write from a more embodied, mindful and awake place
