What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a form of medicine that originated in China several
thousand years ago. Modern acupuncture has evolved to become an
extremely sophisticated and effective method for treating a wide
variety of ailments such as headaches, digestive disorders, pain,
injuries – both acute and chronic, hormonal disorders, addictions,
colds and flu, allergies, asthma and emotional disorders.
About
Kirsten
 Kirsten
graduated from Yo San University in Los Angeles where she underwent
rigorous training in traditional Chinese medicine, including the
study of acupuncture, Chinese massage
and Chinese herbs. She holds a Masters in Acupuncture.
She is also licensed by the State of California (license #AC7023)
and is nationally certified by the NCCAOM. She has also completed
extensive training in addiction medicine and is certified by National
Acupuncture Detoxification Association.
Besides
her private practice, Kirsten devotes time to providing acupuncture
treatments at a local non-profit agency where she works with a wide
variety of underserved populations. Kirsten also has extensive experience
and training working with all types of injuries.
